Supper Time

This was taken on Saturday early evening as we were on our way home from hiking up on Kittatinny Mountain in High Point State Park. I couldn't resist pulling off the road to get this shot. I love cows, I think they are such sweet gentle natured creatures.
I am going to be uploading larger images. I wasn't happy with the smaller ones, since it seemed like so much detail was lost in them and they looked so much better in the larger size. I apologise if this makes it hard for some of you to view them. If I get a lot of negative feedback I will try to set up a link where smaller versions can be viewed.

Wow!!! Amazing Laurie! I love how black their hides are compared to the landscape. Amazing B&W.
Great shot, cows are such underated animals!
Nice herd of cows, and yes they do have such good natures and quite beautiful eyes...
:o)

lovely b/w laurie...am loving this one...8/10
Great contrast on the cows!!
I did know a gal that was chased across a field by a very angry momma cow after Sherri tried to get to close to the calf.
Bigger the better!!! Great shot Laurie x
Lovely image that really works well in B&W. The cows really stand out well.
I like this in b&w but there isn't quite enough contrast. Even with my monitor recently calibrated, the colors are just a bit too close together.
very beautiful!
I love cows too! They are very sweet. That reminds me, there are some cows near my area. I should go and take a few pictures of them.
Beautiful "Feeding time" shot.
I wish I found a solution to post my pictures in a bigger size!
Much nicer!
A lovely scene!
Beautiful detail, I like how the black on the cows looks velvety.
