Suburban Barn

This was shot a few weeks ago in the late afternoon near the Great Swamp. I spotted it behind a volunteer firehouse next to the tiny house in this shot. It's the kind of place I'd like to revisit when there is snow on the ground.

What a wonderful, warm shot. The bright red stands out beautifully against the darker foliage. I also like the soft focus effect. Very well done.

That is a wonderful shot. The colors speak autumn so much. The barn is so nice. I agree though, it would be something with snow on the ground and in the trees -- but it would have to be fresh snow!

Very nice, indeed. I think that your thoughts about the winter time are right on target. A light crusting of snow on the barbed wire, a field of white, and a red barn/house would be beautiful. I can't wait to see it.

This is such a picturesque scene Laurie. I love all the soft, warm colours here. That barn's reds will make a great contrast to the white snow when winter hits full force. I look forward to seeing it!

I love the overall red color to this shot, very warm and appealing!! Another great location you've discovered that you can return to year round.

The light is beautiful in this shot. With the soft focus, it looks almost like it was painted. Very pastoral.

Wow, this would look awesome when it snows, me jealous now you going to get that shot :(

There is a autumn warmness to this shot that is just appropriate for this time of the year, Make a good page on a calender.
