Moon Over the GWB

This was shot on New Years Eve, the same day as the previous shot. I saw the moon coming up over the bridge deck as I was walking down the park road that runs beneath the bridge. When it rose to a point where it was framed by the bridge structure I thought it was a pretty cool sight.

Great shot!

Not sure I would have taken that position in the dark... used to be a favored Mafia "drop zone" when I was a kid. How many times have i been over that bridge... oh my. and then there was Palisades Amusement Park, The NJ Parkway, the Turnpike, the Meadowlands when they were "the Meadowlands," pigs and all.

On that note...

Very interestingly framed, Very cool looking moon.

Read the article on Patrick Schneider, eeeccck, I hope that since that occurred in 2003 their attitudes have changed, One would think the guy had commited a mortal sin, and taking away his awrds, geezzz. You know where I stand about digital retouching so nuff said :)

Very complex photo. I like the repetitiveness of all the vertical lines. Happy new year by the way! ;)
