Proud Kitty
I haven't posted a shot of Missy in a while and I came across this photo of the regal feline in my archives. I'm not sure what she was staring at so intently, probably something outside the window.Missy is 10 now and she still acts like a kitten at times which is nice, although she is slowing down a bit. That may be due more to her ample girth rather than her age. She's a bit of a chubber even though we control her diet.
She does miss her boy, Rob, though. She can't get enough of him when he's home and seems sad for a while after he leaves.

tremendous capture Laurie (although i find the pink background a little distracting); makes me mad though that, after 8 years of trying, i've never once managed to get a single decent shot of our cat Penelope.
nice shot..!
i love her eyes...!
very well captured, the espression on her face is very interesting
Your cat is beautiful.... so is the composition.
nice shot, I like the focus on the eys.
Ahhh, what a sweet kitty. What was she focusing on?
So glad you're back...have you heard from your son?
I'm heading off to Yosemite tomorrow for a week! Got the lenses packed...can't wait!
I too like the focus on the highlight in her eye. Her Regal personality shines through.
she looks so solemn and serious, make for a great capture...
Beautiful kitty! Well captured!

perfect...
What an intense look! Beautiful portrait !
Wonderfully captured shot!
Awesome image Laurie - she is gorgeous! What's funny is that we have a Himalayan name Obie - and he lays on Charlie the whole time he is home.....Obie has gotten chubby too, he is 8...Happy St Patrick's Day!
That's Awesome!
I love the reflections in her eyes and the detail of her whiskers. She is indeed beautiful.
She's a beautiful kitty!!!
Hey, girlie -
Been thinking about you and Mark and Rob a lot; hope you're feeling better and things are going ok. Hope the trip to Georgia was at least interesting in some ways. (Your dawn shot is stellar.)
So let's get together in April and have a fun day out with our cameras. Are you up for that same park again where I did your flour portrait? (The one with the giant lake, can't remember the name!) Might be nice to spend a few hours there one pretty spring day... good for the soul.
Talk to you soon. Keep shooting. :)
Lovely shot ... the cat has very nice shiny coat ... the background color somehow reminds me of salmon.
A sharp and awesome looking shot! Nicely done!
