Lower Manhattan-Broken skyline

This is a night view of Lower Manhattan as seen from Liberty State Park in New Jersey. It was a beautiful evening and the city looked so pretty as it sparkled, but I am still haunted by the empty spaces in the skyline where the Twin Towers once stood.

Laurie, I see what you mean...it's as if someone lifted two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle out of the picture.

I've always loved night shots, and this is an exceptional cityscape.

I'm simply amazed by this shot. The dark blue tones and the gold highlights are just stunning. Definitely one of my favorites.
That empty space strikes me, just like it does that to you. I visited one of them a week before it happened.
