Looking Through: A Bug's Eye View

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback on the last post. I'm happy you all liked it. There is just something so wonderful about lighthouses for me and that one with it's remote location just touches a chord with me and I cannot help but want to share it with all of you. Thank you for indulging me.

This is a shot from my own front yard, rather what's left of it. I was on the side of my house crawling around on the ground looking for interesting things to shoot when I saw the way the light danced on the grass and clover through the weeping cherry tree in the front yard so I just lay down and started shooting. I didn't really think anything good would come of the shot but I was really pleasantly surprised at the result. I hope you like this simple image as well.

Laurie, when I first opened this page and looked, I knew, without a doubt that this was your yard. I just knew. Mainly because I've thought that I should take such a shot many a time, but have never overcome the laziness to get on the ground and dos such!

What a lovely shot. The sunlight in the background really adds to the shot. The light that is falling on the flowers is very delicate. Wonderful!

Wonderful image; it has a very magical, mystical feeling to it, like something from a Fairy Tale.
