Rust

I feel like my blogging activities are getting rusty rather like this old wrench I spotted on the rusty door of this old rail car some weeks ago. I've been struggling to get things done and I am making headway but there is just not enough time in the day for all my projects right now.

I am about 1/2 way done with one of the bigger projects so that should help a lot when it's all out of the way. Then hopefully I will have a little more time.

I want you all to know how much it means to me that you continue to visit even though I've been scarce lately. Thank you!

Laurie, what an interesting subject. I bet that rusty door & wrench stopped you in your tracks! Isn't it fun, discovering photo ops in the least-expected places? Nice job!

Well seen Laurie, great tones and angles throughout. The wrench is a nice bonus.

Great detail and I love the colors. No rust at all on your photography.

Even though rust never sleeps, your photography is alive and well oiled. Very nice image. Lots of detail and interesting tones and colors. I'm feeling the time pressure as well with end of school year activities, increased yard/house work, etc. Life is definitely getting in the way of my photography. How dare it! Shoot when you can, we'll be here to enjoy it.

I like the near-monochrome aspect of this image. It's probably closer to duotone, but very nice nonetheless. Isn't it curious how we photographers are sensitive to nearly everything in our environment? I like it!

Love the rust. It's hard to beat. Something about a rusty piece of metal.
