Carousel Horse at Giggleberry Fair

Thanks for the great feedback on the previous post. Some of my favorite subjects to photograph are musicians. My relationship with the NJIO and the NNJYO has afforded me a number of great opportunities to do just that.

When I was in Peddler's Village for the scarecrow festival I was walking back toward the car to leave when I passed Giggleberry Fair which has an indoor carousel. The waning light was blazing through the windows illuminating it. Of course that meant I had to go in and get a couple of shots. I was actually surprised at how the carousel looks a little scary in that light in this photo.

I have been and will be posting a few shots from the scarecrow festival on my Am3 photoblog Parallel Universe if anyone is interested in having a look.

Fascinating light. It makes the horse look a bit like its snarling. Pure artistry and perfect lead-up to Halloween.

Nice image, as you say - a bit scary - make me think of Stephen King.

Dramatic and powerful capture! If I was still a child I would probably be afraid of this fierce looking horse!
