C'mon Gimme a Kiss?
previous / nextI went to a local street fair on Sunday and found this guy performing under the railroad bridge at one of the vendor booths. He was trying to coax a kiss from a woman who was passing by. He actually did get one, unfortunately I was not able to get a clear shot of "the kiss" because of the people walking between me and the entertainer.
When he moved his "suit" made electronic noises for each robotic movement and his "eyes" flashed red. It was really quite interesting to observe.
The vendor was very clever in choosing him to entertain possible customers. It happened to be a roofer and wouldn't you know it? We happen to be in the market for a new roof!
I've heard of the company before and have seen their work. I've seen them doing work in the area many times before, but probably would not have thought to call them for an estimate had I not stumbled upon their booth, which caught my eye because of this guy. So now we have another roofer to get an estimate from for our much need new roof.

Interesting costume and your picture is terrific. The coloring is attention getting.
2 years ago we went through the roofing job. I'm glad i don't have to think of that for many years now.
I won't be able to blog for the next few days. Hubby and I have a 2 day job in Sacramento so will be back on line for ABC Wednesday.
Seem a nightmare character! A really anxious image...
Very cool photo! I thought it was a statue at first! Sounds like he was interesting to see.

Neat shot, Laurie. He's kinda creepy. Wonder if he'll be dressed like that when he shows up to work on your roof? ;-)
That is one way-cool shot, Laurie. Really nice capture.
adorable photo! quel beau détail!
Reminds me of Robert Calvert. An innovative "artist". He suffered from manic depression and died aged 43 of a heart attack. It is not about the time we have but how we use it.
Nicely captured, really sharp. Interesting story about the roof connection.
I like this one, so crisp.
So funny shot!
I thought he was a real man!Oh!
