One Last Summer Memory

previous / next

I was going through some of my old photos from last summer and came across this one that I'd forgotten about. Well better late than never right? So here is one last memory of summer to enjoy.

This was shot at Manny's Pond in Hoffman Park in Hunterdon County NJ. I love this place for the wonderful memories it holds from when I was a child and the property was a farm that belonged to my Aunt. I regularly fell into Manny's Pond when fishing as a little girl.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so I just wanted to remind everyone of the importance of regular self exams, mammography, and anual checks by your doctor. For more information here are several links:

Please pass on this information to your family, friends, and co-workers. It's very important and could save the life of someone you love.

You made me laugh when you said you regularly fell into the pond.
Great candid shot and the black and white is a good choice.

Excellent shot. I do hear the Andy Griffith theme playing in my head. Very nice.

Laurie, you're a master at b/w images. This one really works for me on a couple of levels - emotionally, and for its beautiful clarity and framing. You sure know how to use what nature offers you!

Like another comment, my reaction was the trees. They really could not be better framing this. Nicely captured.
