Ice Storm-Berries 2

This is the second photo in the ice storm series which was also shot in Mohawk Park on Friday after the ice storm. This is a more isolated view of the same kind of berries as the previous photo.

Thanks to Kathleen, I now know that this is called Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora Thunb.ex Murr.) Actually I know a lot about it now because she is a master when it comes to this stuff and left a wonderful detailed description and history in the comments on the previous post. Thanks Kathleen!

Rubies in ice. Simply beautiful. It would make a terrific greeting card.

beautiful Laurie - I think we all were out shooting this similar image - the popping red is just asking for it - you certainly did it justice! Enjoy the holidays

This is beautiful. It almost looks like a popsicle that you'd want to eat.
