Red Corvette

previous / next

Ooooh! Nice car!

I'm not much of a car person but this one caught my eye as it rounded this Jersey City street corner.

News:

This photo of the Bucknell Quad is a 2 page feature photo in the Summer 2008 issue of Bucknell Magazine.

As of July 2008 I have decided to post the same photos on "Parallel Universe" as I do here. It has become too complicated to maintain two different photoblogs on a regular basis. Feel free to visit "Parallel Universe" and look through the portfolio/archives since there are quite a few photos there that were never posted here. I will continue to post on both since each one gets different viewers.

Check out my other Photoblog portfolio/archives:

Clear composition with the right eyecatcher in the center. Must have been something like sunday morning, or are the gas prices in the US so high that nobody drives anymore? Ah, and let me just admire you for holding the fisheye so straight - I have trouble even with a normal 16mm.

Hmmmm... the lens fisheye that was good. The city Jersey was seen clean and fresh. The red colour sports car became accentuation that was strong from this photograph. I love it. Regards from Yogyakarta Indonesia.

That is a pretty sweet ride. Also, your recent shots have really got me interesting in getting a fisheye lens. I know you can get those attachments (and I actually think I have one around here somewhere), but it seems like the lens itself is worth the money. (which do you have??)

@PJ...Thanks. I actually have the 10.5mm Nikon DX lens so it is a dedicated fisheye.

Love that red corvette but I really like how you framed and composed this shot. Very creative, like the curves and architecture. Great job!

Love the fisheye lens shot, Laurie. It works especially well in city shots like this what with the tall buildings and all. Very nice!

This is one of those photos that pull you in... the car, of course, is the first eye-catcher. Secondly, is the energy and movement of the sidewalk and buildings and then the blue reflections in the windows. VERY nice, Laurie!

I love the extreme angle of the wide angle lens, and somehow the the red car really draws the eye into the image! Well done!

An eye-catching shot for the fine looking subject and for the wide-angle distortion that gives the picture lots of umph! Very nice shot. I'm adding it to my vfxy colleciton.
