Skyscraper
previous / nextThis is one of the many skyscrapers in Jersey City. More are being built all over the city. There are construction sites everywhere. It's good to see in this city during these times.

As of July 2008 I have decided to post the same photos on "Parallel Universe" as I do here. It has become too complicated to maintain two different photoblogs on a regular basis. Feel free to visit "Parallel Universe" and look through the portfolio/archives since there are quite a few photos there that were never posted here. I will continue to post on both since each one gets different viewers.

Equilibrium and poetry are anywhere. You know them to see.
Such rich detail and fabulous colors along with a super perspective in this excellent image.

Love the fisheye angle on this shot! I'd like to visit NJ again someday!
Watch out that building's about to fall over! Love that fisheye!
Nice use of wida angle ! It seems even bigger !

I like how you have captured these skyscrapers!
i like how your angle makes them look both huge and tipped.
Just looked through your New Jersey series, Laurie. Feel like I went for a quick visit. The city looks EXTREMELY clean! I like your new lens.... gives the images a zip of energy with the exaggerated angles. Love the rich colors as well.
I like the angle you shot this at and that blue sky is just amazing!
Outstanding viewpoint. Killer on the sky. Love it.
Great photo! I also think a statement is being made with the pavement level being so dark. Perhaps it is time for the new construction to end while some light still filters to earth?
Quelle taille, c'est impressionnant !
Again such a great perspective.
Love the blue sky.
fisheye again? like the distortion and the pastel colours of the sky...
very cool - you chose a perfectly dramatic angle
Nice angle Laurie. A very inviting downtown street captured.

Existe-t-il un ascenseur pour les nuages dans cet immeuble ?
Belle photo.
