A gorgeous industrial shot, Laurie. It's excellent.
Great details and composition. I like the moderate dof.
Really nice black and white work! the strong contrasts adds a lot of life to the dead metal!
Great tonal range in this bw picture! I like it!

Excellent pic Laurie! I like this chain so rude and the other part of the shot so clear... beautiful compo.
The details and structures are really outstanding. Love the contrast and composition.
cool details and textures in this shot.. works well in mono too.. nice shot.. :)
excellent BW!!!
Great rustic tones. My eyes are immediately drawn to the chain on the right.
The hardware on trains is so rugged and massive that they are imposing in any picture. The chain with its peeling paint adds an eye-catching dimension. Fine black and white quality.
Excellent detail shot and dof.
Bonjour,
Great details..Bravo!..Happy new year!
I've always like the look of pics like these. Strong, gritty, heavy on the contrast. Nice job! :)
Love the textures and the whole composition. Trains offer so much good grungy stuff to photograph.
Special black and white, puts snow chains in full shot produced, the transformation of job into object, I likes this presentation which opens to thoughts on the existence of the object.
it's perfect in b&w, laurie. very good shot.
Wonderful image!
Superb textures. Keep the tutorials coming!
the textures are nice but the lines are also good.
Feeling of strength !
Un collier pour l'architecture cette chaine.
Very nice shot !
Its a great b/w photograph.
Its ftastic!
Clear and sharp details on a great composition.
That's just awesome. Do you think the black and white image is better than the color image? I love it in black and white.
@Alvis...Thanks...The color version was pretty boring, low contrast with a lot of white-ish and muted tones due to it being really caked with dust and grime. Even the rusty parts were not very rust colored. When I shot this I knew I would make it black and white. It was more about textures than color for me.
great textures and dof.
Great composition; love these details and contrasts.
Very nice composition. Great details and great textures.
Really cool shot of the rusting metal. Love the textures of the peeling rust!
