Archived Color

previous / next

Well I spoke to soon of moderating temperatures, the bitter cold and biting wind has returned tonight after a nice warm 50° day...oh well winter marches on! A few more weeks, a few more weeks, a few more weeks. I just have to keep reminding myself of that.

I was going through my archives and found this one taken in the Great Swamp this past fall that for whatever reason never got posted. I meant to post it but it somehow was overlooked. So I decided better late than never. Besides, with the landscape currently dressed in the winter drabs, I figured I could use a little color here.

Oh yes, that strong red is something I am missing in this cold grey winter light. But there is times for change, and I learned to be patient, sometimes...

Oh you are so right on. We too had some warm weather but winter has returned. It was 3 degrees yesterday morning as I drove the kids to school and I told them it might as well be below zero.

Lovely colors and bokeh.

This image is fabulous.

I love colour red. The red gives energy and boost motivation.

Your camera D700 makes me salivate like a dog. I love how the image turns out on this image.

The background is a little nervious but I am sure that this type of background helps you to compose the image
