..the long road gives a beautiful depth to the pic, and the b&w bring a sense of very old... well done!

hmmm... I spent so much time admiring those houses, I missed this. This is really a great shot. Love this vantage point and the contrast in the shot. It has a nice sense of scale. Wonderfully done.

What great looking structures. I can see why people and photographers would love to go inside and check it out closer.

Pretty black and white, perhaps the too white sky, but it is my approach of grey.

@Siam...Thanks...the winter sky was very pale that afternoon, as it often is in the winter here. There was barely any color at all, so white was what the conversions yielded...If I processed toward gray it was too flat and muddy for my taste everywhere else. I like contrasty black and white conversions for this type of photo with such rich textures.

Probably continue from your last post. Also a very nice B/W and frame.
I don't know why (i know it has nothing to do with this) but it gave me the impression of a concentration camp. Crazy thought i know. Go figure...

Wonderful image and quite interesting. The clarity and crispness makes this like looking through a window as if I am there. Nice b&w with a just a touch of heavy contrast.
