I know It Is Not a Ginger Flower
previous / next...and I don't think there is any lemon in it. I just thought they looked pretty together.

My son Russell is learning how to use one of my old DSLR's, my Olympus E300. This is a shot he snuck of me on Saturday when we went out shooting together down at the Jersey Shore. It was such a gorgeous day! At one point we shed our sweaters for short sleeves, even on the beach it was around 72°. He took it, I edited it n Lightroom...no crop. The kid (eh-hem 18 years old) has a pretty good eye for composition. I liked the photo enough that (although I have a few "winter pounds" to shed from the looks of it) I put it as my new profile pic on my "about me" page because it is pretty much how I look when I go out shooting.

perfect shot
i've learned it the hard way how difficult it is to shoot round reflective surfaces :)
special advertising, great work
Laurie, I love the image that your son took of you! It is fun to actually see you "out in the field". What a magical place too with those long weeds (reeds) highlighted by the light.
Its really looked pretty together, great idea and lovely shot!
The colors really compliment each other nicely. Cool photo!
Very good shot!
Another great photo. Is that in your light tent? That's quite a lens you're sporting in that shot btw.
Well, there ought to be lemon in it, then since it look so good. About the flower not being ginger, well...it looks pretty, too...better than ginger root would. :) Ginger flower could look pretty good though. As to the photo work, this is so different than what I usually do that I am in awe of your studio technique.
Yes!
Very pretty indeed :)
oh god, it's written in french too ;)
sujet intéressant et original pour une jolie photo.
This is great!
Very nicely done, I love the outcome.
Splendid work!
Lovely. I love the even lighting, and the beautiful colors.
Just read the part about your son's photo of you. You are right, he does have a good eye for composition!
Lovely and elegant arrangement Laurie. You have a creative eye for this type of composition. Beautiful image, the white background really brings out the details and colors.
yes the lemon does look good with this!
really lovely photograph your son took of you - thank you for sharing it with us.
Great work. Clear, sharp, vibrant with excellent control of shadows and light reflections.
Simple and elegant. Very effectful.
And thanks for all your positive comments Laurie. They make me glad.
-I agree with you about the annoying music!

Hi Laurie
A beautiful studio work, very nice details and perfect light! Well done!
Regards
I would say, get rid of the lemon, it doesn't seem to fit here in me eyes! It's the wrong color.
beautiful lighting and arrangement
Admiring on this worthy composition an advertising; which clears a harmony of colours
