Very nice effect - it's like a commercial shot of a sparkling new engine, from an F1 car or something. Cool :-)

There is a certain tension in this image that I can't quite place my finger on. I am not sure if it is the reflection being out of focus slightly or what. But very interesting shot.

Excellent! I didn't see the mirroring at first sight, so it seamed a unique shape... Very nice and original shot! Happy Easter Laurie!

You know I tried photographing some marbles on a mirror a while back and it looked just awful. Maybe you can give me some pointers on how to do it right.

Very cool, I've only done one with a mirror. I need to get a bigger mirror just for that use:)

An interesting technique for creating this close up of the shell. I like the result very much. Nice detail and color...and the tent does a fine job with the lighting.chypac

Nice work! I really like that you used the mirror - it not only shows the underside of the shell but makes it so that there are no shadows of the entire shell - just in the curves.
