Debris at the Docks
previous / nextDown at the fishing docks there is all manner of debris and discarded items. It is like a veritable junk yard. I think perhaps this tank had been a fuel tank on one of the fishing boats.

great lights and dof
a superb shot!
Gorgeous light here Laurie. So warm!!!
With all the debris I think you did a good job of isolating some feature "pieces." The strong, darker diagonals of the boards helps organize the image and provides a kind of background for the tank. Well done.
Nice light and color in this image. And lots of detail to see. Beauty can be found everywhere.
Ah, this is my kind of shot. Love the textures, shades of gray and brown and the dof is fabulous.
This picture makes me antsy to get back to San Francisco and have a photo shoot.
Always nice to be in the neighbour of old fishing docks! You maked a very great photo, Laurie!

The tide may take this away...
Nice composition on this debris.
Nice shot.
Fabulous light, and really good textures. Good stuff.
Wow you even make the trash look good!! Great work!
The clarity of the foreground against the softness of the background is just amazing.
Nice colours in this picture. Sorry to see than junkyards are existing everywhere...
