Dockside Seating

previous / next

Among the debris I found at the fishing docks was this chair which looked to be in relatively good condition for being out in the elements.

The stark white of the chair gives it great emphasis in the picture... which I like very much. Seems strange to see such a good looking chair discarded. Fine photo.

Laurie, how come you don't offer your content through RSS?

@ TP it is offered in RSS. Just click the RSS symbol in the address bar of your browser and it will add it to your RSS or ATOM feeds. :) (At least in Firefox that is how I do it.)

Love the contrast of the chair and surroundings. The song Sitting on the Dock of the Bay comes to mind.
I am a big fan of your photography.

Unusual and good motif, nicely converted to black and white!
We like the feeling of sunshine on the chair, look like it is early spring time!

Very good opened to 2.8 with one 28/70; this beautiful black and white gives some dimension

@rian...Thanks. I do think this chair is still used. Probably by one of the crew members or workers on the docks.
