NJIO 15th Anniversary Concert IV
Picking up where I left off with the concert series. This is the fourth in the series from the NJIO's (New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra) 15th Anniversary Concert.
This very talented young lady is Hyewon Kim. She was born in Korea in 1990 and has been studying cello since she was 10. She has won many accolades, awards, and scholarships in her short career. She is currently finishing her studies in The Julliard School of Music Pre-College Division and has been accepted into the Julliard School of Music.
The NJIO is as it says an Intergenerational orchestra and in keeping with that theme they invited Hyewon and her teacher from Julliard André Emelianoff to play as soloists and to also do a duet. It was quite a treat to listen to them and see them perform together.
This shot was taken during the pre-concert warm up. Hyewon and the conductor were discussing part of the solo piece she was rehearsing. She is so pretty and I could not take a bad photo of her if I tried.

@Mindy...Thanks...Those colorful umbrellas have been around on the "Joisey Shore" as long as I can remember. We had one with a huge matching beach blanket when I was small.
Wonderful sharpness. Wonder what she is looking at.
@Mike...she was looking at the conductor as they were discussing parts of the piece she was playing.
