A-Rod
previous / next (9-02-09)This is from the Yankees Game last Wednesday. That was A-Rod getting a hit. The Yankees won against the Rangers 9-2. The game was great fun and we even saw Jack Nicholson and sitting just a couple of seats from him was Paul McCartney. I did get a couple of pics of both of them which I may or may not post. They were sitting behind Home Plate and there was safety netting obscuring the view a bit and we were pretty far away. I brought my D200 to the game and my 70-200mm f/2.8 with the 2x teleconverter which gave me 600mm equivalent on the D200. There was a bit of trade off in the quality compared to that set up on the D700.

It has been great having Rob home this past week, really busy, and wonderful. Yesterday we moved Russell into his dorm. He has a really nice roommate and I hope they will get along well. He had a great roommate last year too so he's been very fortunate. He starts classes on Tuesday, 24 credits!!! Yikes!!!

Super shot Laurie. 'Just in time'.
I've never watched a baseball game. The closest was a visit at the Metz's training camp in Florida.
