Rewind-Dingman's Falls
This was shot back in May at Dingman's Falls in Pennsylvania. We hadn't planned on stopping there that day but I was glad we did. We will go back this Fall...Hopefully!

This post is set to run automatically but we should be home by the time it posts. We were in Georgia for the last few days. Rob has been stoplossed and will be leaving shortly to go back to Iraq for another 12 months deployment. We went down for a few days to visit with him and pick up his stuff and his car to bring it back here to store it while he is deployed. Hopefully in December 2010 he will be coming home for good.

especially since fall is coming, this'll look pretty lovely when the leaves turn.. :)
Amen to Rob coming home for good 2010 :)
Lovely shot Laurie
I'm glad you have had some real quality time with Rob and I pray that this year goes quickly for you and your entire family. You are in my thoughts.
How coincidental is this? I've never heard of this area, being from the Midwest. I came east a few days ago for a visit with my daughter and we had planned a camping trip to Watkins Glen. But... every time I looked at the weather map, all I saw was rain. Even though the forecast was rain all week, we still left Elizabeth and headed to the Finger Lakes, but on impulse stopped at the Delaware Water Gap instead. After all, there were blue skies there!
I've never seen waterfalls like the ones I photographed over 4 days in this place. These were the first waterfalls I've ever photographed. What fun!
And the one I just posted--yes, Dingmans Falls. Small world, huh?
