The little flecks are bits of rosin from the violin bow.
I have 3 different images for the cover and I haven't decided which one to use yet.

i suppose it's a cover for classical music, right? well, it does look great too.. kinda hard to pick.. :D
Well...this is gorgeous, too! I can see why you are having a hard time choosing. =)
They are all great. I like the choice for the program cover. It tells the story in one picture.
There is a really nice sense of the little details in this shot.. Lovely work and nice black and white processing.
