Resting Duck

previous / next (9-14-11)

The park where this was shot was completely underwater last week after Hurricane Irene came through. My town was the worst hit in our county but other towns in other counties suffered worse. Some parts of my town were still without power as of September 1. 7 houses were condemned another 1300 suffered severe damage at last count. My heart breaks for my hometown and all those in my town and the others in the Northeast who were so seriously affected by Hurricane Irene. Mostly my heart breaks for those who lost loved ones as a result of Irene.
