Vermont Pines

previous / next (10-15-11)

I shot these in late June on a trip to Vermont. In an effort to achieve a slightly blurred look to these tall straight pines I deliberately moved the camera up and down while tripping the shutter. I made several attempts with varying results. This was my favorite. I have a few sharp ones as well but I liked this somewhat surreal mood here.

Nikon D700
Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8
1/125 second
f/5.0
ISO 400
