On our way home we stopped in Bennington which is a larger town compared to most of the places we visited in Vermont on this short trip. In Bennington there are several covered bridges 3 of which are within a few blocks of each other and which we visited. They are all very similar sharing the same color scheme and architectural style. I shot this one using a 3 stop ND filter and a 6 stop ND filter stacked to achieve a 25 second exposure in midday albeit overcast light.

Happy Independence Day to everyone in the USA.

We have a beautiful country but many don't get to see and appreciate all the beauty this country has to offer. I have traveled much of the country in my youth I don't think I appreciated it nearly as much when I was younger as I do now.

When we spent last weekend in Vermont this was the clearest the skies got and it only lasted a little while before the ceiling would lower and shroud the mountains in clouds and fog. Still beautiful though for those few minutes.

Another image from our foggy damp weekend in Vermont. Sometimes the fog or clouds would lay low and then lift briefly only to descend again soon after. This was shot at the Bromley winter ski resort.
