HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!2007
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope everyone enjoyed very happy and safe New Year Celebrations. We had a very nice time celebrating with friends and family.
I cannot say that I am sorry to see 2006 go. It wasn't a particularly bad year, but it certainly had it's challenges for us. I hope that the challenges we face in 2007 won't be quite as difficult as 2006.
One of the things that was most rewarding about 2006 was getting to know so many wonderful photographers here online through the photoblogs that I visit and those who visit me. I have found so much encouragement, inspiration, and support from everyone and I just want to let you all know how grateful I am for your thoughtful comments and faithful visits. It really does mean a lot to me. You all really did help me get through a tough year! This place, this community really has been an oasis for me to go and get away from some of the stresses of this past year. Thank you.
This shot was taken on Saturday afternoon in Princeton. This is a micro-brewery called "Triumph" that has 2 locations, one in Princeton and one in New Hope PA. I had been to the one in New Hope on a few occasions for lunch with Mark and always liked the atmosphere and the tasty food. I think it's pretty neat that you can see the tanks where they brew their specialty beers on site. While we were there they were cleaning some of the tanks. You might even be able to see the steam rising up in the lights near the center tank. This was a tough shot. I laid the camera on the seat and shot blind. The shutter was pretty slow and I need the seat to stabilize it for the shot.
