Apples and Bananas
previous / nextA healthy snack for anyone!
This was shot in my dining room with my new studio lights. I'm in the process of trying to set up a small studio in the house. I have been busily dragging a studio around with me the last few weeks in order to work on some projects...oh my poor back! It's been really interesting, fun, a little frustrating at times, and definitely a learning experience.
I now have a total of 3 studio strobes with a variety of umbrellas and a moderate sized softbox. In addition to my small speedlights which I use off camera for small jobs or tight spaces. It's been fun learning how to use them all. I learn more and more every time I use them.
I went for a shadow-less look for this one and I managed to get it pretty easily. I would have done this in color but the fruit wasn't all that pretty hence the black and white.
I have been working on some various types and styles of portrait lighting using my family as victims, ummm, errr, I mean subjects. They have been completely willing of course...NOT!
