This is from the same day and location in New Hope Pennsylvania as
this shot. I am very fond of vintage rail travel, particularly the old steam engines like
this one. It's something I've inherited from my dad. When we were young my dad often took us to the rail yards and museums.
One of my brothers worked for Conrail years ago and he took me to the rail yard so I could look around and get a very close up look at the trains. He even took me inside the big diesel engine and I got to look at the huge pistons. We went inside the "garage". I don't know if that's the correct term, but he took me down into the pit and I got to have a look at the underside of the big diesel engines that were in there for repairs. I thought it was a little creepy but so cool.
My neighbor loved the framed print that I gave her of the purple mum from the last post. She also told me that she knows the woman who owns a framing store in town who is looking to showcase local artists in her store which she is expanding to include a gallery. I met with the her yesterday (thank-you Holly for introducing us) and she picked five prints that she wants to showcase in June. I am very excited especially since this store is in my hometown.
